oliver vranch- main character
justina rushvili- befriends oliver while making bone jewelry in a coffeehouse. father is a georgian orthodox priest. left home because she was openly bisexual and her family disapproved. has a sexual relationship with oliver, then decides she's a lesbian, then decides to become a nun.
travis friend- local hipster who makes oliver's life a living hell. works in a record store and sings in a band called travis and his taxi ride.
chhay som khlot- cambodian medical student who lives in oliver's building. known as "the night doctor", he kidnaps and dissects homeless people for study sessions.
eric and bethel- oliver's new neighbors, who he shares much in common with. their presence makes him uncomfortable.
meghan grimes- travis' stunning girlfriend, who propositions oliver in order to humiliate him. |
